SPEC CPU2000 installed

Apologies if you receive multiple copies of this mail.

The SPEC CPU2000 benchmark suite has been installed in /unsup/spec2000.
The recently released suite consists of 12 integer and 14 floating-point
benchmarks.

Instructions on building and running the benchmarks have been placed
in /unsup/spec2000/README.first. More SPEC documentation is available
in the /unsup/spec2000/docs directory or at SPEC's web site at
www.spec.org.

Pre-compiled SPEC2000 executables have been built to help people using
SPEC2000 with simulators. Currently we have Alpha binaries, with
Simplescalar PISA binaries coming soon. See README.first for details.

Please note that due to SPEC's educational site-license restrictions, 
the SPEC2000 installation can only be used for research purposes within
the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
