Subject: Open position
The Computer Science Department at Rice is actively seeking
candidates for a junior faculty position. We are particularly
interested in candidates who are focused on programming languages
research -- both theory and practice. If you have students
who you feel would be interested in such a position, please
encourage them to apply.
(See http://www.cs.rice.edu/CS/facultysearch.shtml)
At the same time, the Computer Systems Lab at Rice is conducting
a search for one or more junior faculty positions in systems
(broadly construed). Your students should also consider applying
to that search -- send an application to the same address, earmarked
for the CSL search. The CSL is an interdepartmental lab; new hires
have appointments in both CS and E&CE.
thanks for your time,
