I'm currently in the process of deploying HTCondor on a set of macOS-based Mac mini systems, with the goal of configuring a multi-machine pool. I've successfully completed a single-machine installation following the macOS (as root) installation guide. However, I've reached a point where I'm unsure how to transition from a single-machine setup to a full multi-machine configuration.
The installation guide briefly mentions that "other configuration changes" are required for a multi-machine pool but does not provide further details. Additionally, while I've reviewed the Administrative Quick Start Guide, it notes that the get_htcondor tool cannot be used on macOS, and the guidance does not include platform-specific instructions.
My intended topology is:
One Mac acting as Central Manager and Submit host
Several Macs acting as Execute nodes
I would greatly appreciate it if you could point me toward any more detailed configuration instructions or best practices for setting up a multi-machine pool specifically on macOS. Any examples or templates relevant to configuring each role would be especially helpful.
Thank you very much for your support.

Where exactly do you get stuck when following the instructions at
https://htcondor.readthedocs.io/en/latest/getting-htcondor/install-macos-as-root.html
?
The single-machine config should be a good starting point - of course the individual roles will require local modifications. You may use the single-node setup as a test that all services work and can talk to each other, then spread them across multiple machines.

Start with the CM as it needs more thought, and add the Submit role later.
Re "more detailed": the manual, last time I checked, had 1000+ pages (and I suspect it won't have shrinked since). You will have to modify more than just two handfuls of settings, to get the most out of this powerful and complex software.
Best,
