found this old email thread [1] How can we install the htcondor2 and classad2 in conda environment?

Not able to find it in pip alsoÂ

$ pip install htcondor2

ERROR: Could not find a version that satisfies the requirement htcondor2 (from versions: none)
ERROR: No matching distribution found for htcondor2

an earlier version htcondor and classad are present in conda.Â

    There isn't one. The htcondor.poll() method was only required for
use with htcondor.Schedd.xquery(), which no longer exists.
