Hi Mike,
The Volume Group (or backing Thinpool if using thin provisioning) can be utilized by non-condor LVs. Condor marks all LVs it has created with a
htcondor_lv tag to help ensure that it only cleans up LVs it created. I do want to that the tagging of LVs was added midway through the features experimental phase (V23.5.2). The disk enforcement feature is no longer experimental as of V23.10.1 of HTCondor.
