- Subject: [HTCondor-users] Yum repositories: Fedora repo vs. HTCondor repo. Conflicts?
Hi,
My HTCondor master is an up-to-date Fedora 21 PC using the default Fedora yum-repository, which also has the HTCondor packages.
What are the advantages/disadvantages for switching to the HTCondor stable-rhel7 yum-repository (http://research.cs.wisc.edu/htcondor/yum/)? Will I encounter conflicts when switching repository?
This is what I have currently installed from the default Fedora repository:
condor-8.3.1-1.fc21.i686
condor-procd-8.3.1-1.fc21.i686
condor-classads-8.3.1-1.fc21.i686
All pool PCs are Windows 7 with HTCondor 8.0.5 or 8.0.6.
Thank you.
RL.
