A metaknob is a reasonable compromise. normal_polling (or no setting)
could stay at 5 minutes, fast_polling could be 2.5 minutes. Is there a
case for a "slow_polling" that sets a 10 minute interval? Maybe
running the CM on a Raspberry Pi.

I do like the idea of a singular default for people who really just
need to set it to 121 seconds, but I suspect that's rare enough that
they can just do it the hard way. I'll think about the names and
submit a patch for param_info.in.
