I forgot to say that I do *NOT* want to use tester, I just want to save to a file the sequence of instructions executed when running a PARSEC benchmark, and then re-execute that sequence of instructions again. Is that possible??

Thanks!

Hi.

I would like to know if I can create a trace file running a PARSEC in a Solaris 10 simulated machine, and then load this trace file to run the instructions contained in that file.

I am using Simics with Opal + Ruby. How should I generate the trace file, with the Opal's "take-trace" command instead of "sim-step"?? And then, which Opal's command should I use to load the trace??

Thank you!!

Regards,
David
