As far as I know GEMS does not currently provide the ability to generate Opal instructions traces, only memory traces. However, you could easily add that.

Hi.

I would like to know if I can create a trace file running a PARSEC in a Solaris 10 simulated machine, and then load this trace file to run the instructions contained in that file.

I am using Simics with Opal + Ruby. How should I generate the trace file, with the Opal's "take-trace" command instead of "sim-step"?? And then, which Opal's command should I use to load the trace??

Thank you!!

David
