Subject: [Gems-users] how to construct a CMP system with 32 or 64 cores
Hi there,

I'm now wondering how we could figure a CMP system with 32, 64 or even more # of cores. To be precisely, Opal only decodes ultrasparc III ISA while serengeti could only support up to 24 CPUs. And when I modified the include file "serengeti-6800-system.include" in simics and try to make a checkpoint, I got the following errors:
================
Cannot connect 'system_cmp0' to 'board_cmp6'. The 'system_cmp0' component does not have any 'cpu-slot6' connector.

[./serengeti-6800-system.include:37] the command did not complete properly; interrupting script
================

Could someone please kindly help me out?

Many thanks,

Guoqiang Yang
