Hi, All,
I meet some trouble when I try to install ruby on Solaris.
For solaris, the host for simics is v9-sol8-64, but for the gcc
installed in my Solaris machine, libraries such as libstdc++.so.5 and
libgcc_s.so are 32-bit. So I have to change something to compile ruby
for 32-bit. (From Min Xu's help, I know ruby is default compiled for 64-bit).
So my question is that, if the simics itself is 64-bit, and I compile ruby
for 32-bit, I think it should be mismatch. But I can not find simics for
32-bit
(I mean something like v9-sol8-32).
How to deal this mismatch? Does anyone has some experiences on how to install
gems on a Solaris machins?
Thanks
