[DynInst_API:] stack walker not working?

Hello,

Does stack walker work on linux?
I am trying to instrument malloc calls using dyninstAPI.
So far, getting parameter and return value work on 32 bit linux machines, but not on 64 bit machines.
Grabbing stack frames using stopThread on both 32 bit and 64 bit linux fails.
