We have two training events coming up this week:

In this training, we'll cover how CHTC is integrated with ResearchDrive and discuss common data movement patterns for computing on that data using the Pelican Platform and smbclient.

Bioinformatics Cafe - Genome Assembly using Nanopore Data

This session focuses on practical strategies for assembling genomes from long-read Nanopore data using shared computing resources. We’ll discuss how to efficiently run long-read assemblers, manage large input datasets, and take advantage of CHTC’s high-memory and high-throughput capabilities to move beyond laptop- or lab-server–scale assemblies. Stick around afterward for co-working and consultation time with the community and CHTC facilitators.
