Actually, this looks like a false alarm (sorry yâall!). Someone in our IT department saw this info on installing python bindings (https://htcondor.readthedocs.io/en/latest/apis/python-bindings/install.html)
and missed that 0) they are not required and 1) that link shows using conda-forge anyway.

This is interesting because our agency also plans to block conda. What conda dependency did you find in htcondor?

My agency is in the process of blocking the main Anaconda channel due to new license conditions. We are able to access the conda-forge channel, however. It appears that HTCondor is dependent on the Anaconda channel, so I wanted to see
if itâs possible to refactor to the conda-forge channel?
