Hi Jeff,
although I'm lacking serious insight into the matter I'm sorry to admit - there's
something that hit my eye almost immediately:
All the weird behaviour seems to take place when there's no "other" (brownish)
contribution. so I'd like to ask you to re-sort the data to put that part more
on top, right under/close to the white one.
I have a strong gut feeling that this will make things more visible (although
*not* explain them right away) regarding the "unharmed" parts.
To me, the non-existence of "other" data seems to be worth investigating further.
Why, in some periods of time, there's nothing there but something that looks
completely strange instead, and why is there a fudge factor >1 involved?
Cheers,
Steffen
