I am having problems mainly with settings of authorization. Is there a simplified recipes for security? I know there are different authentication methods but having a page which has sample configurations of both would be ideal. We mainly use FS,FS_REMOTE,SSL. We use SSL for daemon to daemon but we are getting away from it because we found it to be way too complicated (
https://research.cs.wisc.edu/htcondor/CondorWeek2011/presentations/zmiller-ssl-tutorial.pdf was helpful) but our staff just gave up after 2 weeks of fumbling around.

It seems its still in progress.
I was wondering if there is a page for FS_REMOTE. If not can a security expert put that in place and I can provide you with feedback?
Hi John
FS_REMOTE assumes you have a writeable shared filesystem between two hosts, but otherwise works just like FS. The name of the directory is assumed to be the same on both sides, and is set with FS_REMOTE_DIR. There are docs on this in the manual at https://htcondor.readthedocs.io/en/latest/admin-manual/security.html#file-system-remote-authentication

Sincerly,
