We are confident that we a FIPS compliant. However, there are known issues with running with SELinux enabled. We have not yet had the time to work on the SELinux profile for HTCondor.

for the most part is seems condor on rhel is working, but i'm seeing segfaults. perhaps related to fips/selinux being turned on
the current is 'condor_release -all' as a user. which does release the jobs, but flags a sefault at the end
condor_release sefault at 10 ip 00007fa002b87d9b sp 0007ffe1b0a6d10 error 4 in libcrypto.so.3.0.7
can you give me the steps to narrow down what/where this is getting tripped

The condor-stash-plugin should be a weak dependency. I plan to add that in for the April release. Feel free to change to the dependency from Requires: to Recommends:
HTCondor will work fine with the file transfer plugin to transfer data using the OSDF (Open Science Data Federation).

i have spoken too soon, looks like when i go to install via dnf i get
problem conflicting requests- nothing provides condor-stash-plugin needed by condor-23.0.4-1.el9.x86_64
i don't seem to have a condor-stash-plugin rpm and nothing jumped out at me in the .spec file that builds it, but i only skimmed it. i'll look deeper tomorrow

I don't have a Red Hat platform available to build on. (We are using AlmaLinux for building.)
Feel free to submit a github PR to add rhel to the build-on-linux script.

is there a reason the build-on-linux script is missing rhel from its listed of supported build platforms?
i see it has fedora/centos and i was able to build it on rhel9, so i'm not sure if there's a specific reason it's left out
