[HTCondor-users] Error condor_status on Windows htcondor 20.0.12

I have made an installation of HTCondor 20.0.12 on Linux. Everything works perfectly.

 

The WINDOWS installation is carried out according to the instructions https://htcondor.readthedocs.io/en/latest/getting-htcondor/install-windows-as-administrator.html.

 

Error after installation:

D:\diagnose>condor_status

Error: communication error

AUTHENTICATE:1003:Failed to authenticate with any method

 

Also Central Manager does not list the new WINDWOS host with condor_status.

 

I found a solution in the mailing list:

* On the central manager, generate an IDToken like so:

condor_token_create -identity condor@$(condor_config_val CONDOR_HOST)

The output of the command will be the IDToken.

* On each windows machine, create the directory <RELEASE_DIR>\tokens.d

In that directory, create a file that contains the IDToken from the previous step. The name of the file doesn’t matter.

* Restart the HTCondor daemons on the Windows machines.

 

The Central Manager lists the new WINDWOS and starting jobs on windows.

But Windows still returns the same error

D:\diagnosis>condor_status

Error: communication error

AUTHENTICATE:1003:Failed to authenticate with any method

 

What is the solution to this problem?
