    Hi Valerio,
    
    Considering your stated purpose above, besides building from source,
    another option you may consider is the binaries are also available
    for download as a tarball.  See
      
https://htcondor.readthedocs.io/en/v10_0/getting-htcondor/install-linux-as-user.html
    for details.   Using the tarball will result in all the binaries on
    your hard disk in a single subdirectory, similar to what you'd get
    after building from source.
