Re: [HTCondor-users] HTCondor 8.2.3 on Win7: condor_kbdd.exe has stopped working

Switching to a new compiler exposed a longstanding bug. Whether or not it crashes depends on what's in the environment
as far as I can tell. The bug will be fixed in 8.2.4 & 8.3.2

You can work around the problem for now by using an 8.0.7 condor_kbdd.exe instead. Just unpack the 8.0.7 release zip file and copy the condor_kbdd.exe over the one in the \condor\bin directory.

Three HTCondor executables are running as the user "SYSTEM":
condor_master.exe
condor_kbdd.exe
condor_procd.exe

Another instance of condor_kbdd.exe should be running as the unpriviledged user, but that one crashes. Any idea what is the matter here?

Thank you.
