Don’t think I have anything then in that case. Sorry. I also started with loose settings on allow_write.

 

I think that you need to set the same CREDD pool password on each and every machine and that you need to do it using an account with admin privileges on each of those machines. I don’t think it is a central setting, so you cannot simply set it on one machine and have it propagate through the whole pool. If you have remote admin rights in Condor and are logged in as a user with administrative rights on all machines, then I believe that you can set the pool password remotely, but you will have to do it for all machines in turn.

I realize this isn't considered safe but I was trying to remove any obstacle I could think of.

BTW, I now have Credd access (if that's the correct phrase) to most machines in the pool. It seemed to work when I ran condor_store_cred add in a command window on the CM machine, not my machine. But my understanding of the manual is that I should be able to run condor_store_cred add from my machine, and it updates the CM, right?

For some reason some machines now work. But I have this puzzle, my machine is bdomo-002:

I'm adding a credential to the same machine, same account, which does specifying the machine work, defaulting to the local machine not work??
