I have multiple schedulers (submit nodes running schedd) running for a condor cluster. When running 'condor_q -global' the submit nodes are unable to talk to each other due to firewall rules.
Is there a way to force schedd to run on a specific port? I did not think it honors the highport / lowport setting in condor_config.
sounds like you want to use SHARED_PORT daemon on your submit machines:

More practical use case:

Hope it helps.
