I was able to installed version 7.4.1 in windows 7 and everything works great. We’ve been running  steadily for the past 4 weeks. My configuration is depicted next; Version 7.2.1 on the central manager (windows XP box), three other windows XP boxes running the same version as the negotiator and the rest is version 7.4.1 (Windows 7 boxes) but my farm is not that big, only 45 startd nodes. I did a custom windows 7 Professional deployment to get rid of all the garbage that comes with the OEM OS version. All our condor jobs are custom scripts developed specifically to our needs since we are an Aero-Mapping company that process big images.

Let me know if I can be of any assistance to you… I know you had helped me quite a few time in the past to overcome my condor challenges…

Specifically 7.2.2 but even a later version. Were you able to get it to run?

I'm using hooks, that might be the problem. It appears that once I hand off the job to run to Condor from my hook script everything dies.

I'm still gathering more information, but just wanted to do a quick check to see if anyone at all has gotten 7.2.x running on Windows 7. Even without hooks.
