Re: [Condor-users] Installation on Vista

Hello,

I have encountered the same problem. The graphical installation problem stops right after the license agreement page with an unknown error. The installation log file reports a failed installation (error code 1603). Could someone tell me what might be the reason of this problem. I am attaching the complete log file to this message.

Have you tried installing with logging enabled?  If not, you can find out how to here:

This will help determine where the installer is running into trouble.

Hi All,

I've been attempting to install Condor on a Vista machine, but the installation wizard ends prematurely, apparently leaving no trace of the problem. This is for version 7.0.4, using the condor-7.0.4-winnt50-x86.msi installer. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated!
