Hi,
Is there was way to reset the output of condor_history? Or at least give it a
date range?
Had a quick look in the instructions and it didn't seem obvious how to do
this.
Thanks,
Brad
There are settings for ENABLE_HISTORY_ROTATION (which if you
have a new enough version of condor is true by default)
and for MAX_HISTORY_LOG. This will rotate and move the old history
log out of the way. If you are using Quill there
is also the -completedsince option which allows you to specify
a regular date format.
condor_history -constraint 'ClusterID>nnnn'
where nnnn is a fairly recent job will also work and is a workaround
for trying to convert the 'seconds since the epoch' timestamp
into real time, a conversion which the condor team has been promising
for more than a year.
