Hmm looks like the manager is no longer talking to the view server. Has a firewall problem cropped up ? I'd try running a tail on the view server collector log then try and contact the server from the manager say with $ telnet view_server_host view_server_port (port is 9618 I think by default). You should see the client start and something appear in the log. If the connection seems to be OK then all I can suggest is restarting the manager and view server. -ian. From:

-pool central-manager -resourcelist failed to receive
data from the CondorView server No Data. I checked
central-manger log files, I am not seeing any error corresponding to failed
connection to view-server. View-Server,

history files present and non empty ? Are the modification times changing
on them - if not maybe the manager is no longer talking to the
view server or the view server (i.e. collector daemon) has crash

Contrib module use to generate reports. Something happened now it is not
generating the report. If I run this /home/condor/VIEWDIR/view_client-6.1.8/make_stats
hour >/dev/null 2>&1 it is not generating any data files something
like Hour-121707144001.data, it use to Could you please point some place to look and
debug this problem. Is it something condor central manager is not
reporting to the CONDOR_VIEW_HOST Could you please let me know some pointer. Thanks, Senthil |
