Don't worry, at least one of the Condor team was adamant that the
deprecation was in the other direction when we discussed it at
Condor Week this year - I suspect he wasn't alone.
Dieter (nice to hear from you again), some hints regarding
adding attributes are in the following Condor Week presentation:

Thanks for pointing that out. I admit that I haven't reread every page
of the manual since we moved here from 6.6 to 6.8 :-(
