[Condor-users] problem starting condor_master

when i do a condor_master on one of my machines, no process is getting started

[root@perfcoelnx4 sbin]# ./condor_master

[root@perfcoelnx4 sbin]# ps -ef|grep condor_
root     21558 21517  0 09:52 pts/2    00:00:00 grep condor_

I did the installing on another one but things are going fine on that but not on this.............where can be the issue??? manual says i can do a condor_master jus after installation??? pls....
