Hi Paula:

We've seen this type of error in the past, and it relates to how Winsock 2 is
configured on your machine(s).  There is a tool that will allow you to view and
ultimately remove the Layered Service Providers or LSPs on your machine:

http://www.cexx.org/lspfix.htm

Do take care with this tool, as it does let you break your Winsock 2 completely
if you ask it to.

I've installed Condor 6.8.7 on WindowsXP and only the master starts up and
