same problem comes when i try to run
globus-url-copy -s "`grid-cert-info -subject`"
gsiftp://somedomain.com:2811/tmp/src file:///tmp/dst

I have made the changes in /etc/sudoers ,added the files grid-ftp and
globus-gatekeepr,restarted the xinetd.d..but still the problem .....

The hostname in the host certificate (.../CN=host/machine.foo.com) must match the real hostname of the machine. If it doesn't, then you have to tell globusrun-ws/globus-url-copy the exact certificate subject name the server should have. Use -help to figure out how to do that for each program.
