I used Condor's file transfer mechanism:

should_transfer_files = yes

when_to_transfer_output = on_exit

I've successfully run the parallel version of abinit as an mpi and a
parallel universe job. I haven't tried relinking it for the standard
universe, but you would only be able to use the serial version.
