- Subject: [Condor-users] n-way maching
Hi,
I would like to find out whether a
(future) version of Condor-G will
support n-way matching for n > 2.
Now, we can match a job with one
(Globus) resource, i.e., 2-way matching.
However, in some cases, e.g., we want
two resources to process synchronously
one half of some input data, it is desirable
to have co-allocation, e.g., match one
job with two resources (in other words,
the job contains two tasks that we want to
execute simultaneously).
(I believe that DAGMan supports a weak
form of co-allocation, whereby resources
may be co-allocated, but there is no
guarantee that the allocations will
start at the same time.)
Thank you.
Gabriel
