Good news, thanks!
A few words on the platforms to support. Solaris 10 is still in a beta
stage, as far as I am aware
but Solaris 9 is very stable and just recently got a major update. So we
will keep it on both
Sparc and x86 platforms for the next academic year.
I would be nice to have a native condor package for Debian Linux on x86 (for
the 2.6.x kernel)
- it is one of the most stable linux distributions (unlike Fedora core,
which is inherently unstable)
and is widely used in academic community, on this side of Atlantic anyway.
:-)
To summarise the wish list of platforms to support:
Solaris 9 x86
Debian x86 (kernel 2.6.x)
