Interesting allocation algorithm based on multi-dimensional resources, with proofs of a few appealing properties. http://static.usenix.org/event/nsdi11/tech/full_papers/Ghodsi.pdf I think if you applied their weighted variant, with weights assigned by the appropriate function of fair-share, you'd obtain a multi-dimensional generalization of condor's fairshare allocation logic. |
