[Condor-devel] Can Condor handle spaces in LOCAL_DIR?

Todd and friends,
We have been trying to install condor in C:\Program Files\Condor.  When 
we set the LOCAL_DIR to "C:\Program Files\Condor", condor fails to 
startup.

The error message we see is -

C:>"c:\program files\gridspaces\bin\condor_master.exe" -t -f
ERROR: Can't read config file c:\program

Is this a known issue?  Is it reasonable to disallow a space as a 
delimiter in the LOCAL_CONFIG_FILE?  Or are we doomed to "PROGRA~1" ?
