[Gems-users] Opal compilation issue for SIMICS 4.2 and GEMS 2.1.1.

Hi all:

First I appreciate your help!

I just accept the license for SIMICS 4.2 and want to compile it with GEMS 2.1.1.

I apply the patch for SIMICS 4.2 provided by Windriver, but I can not make the Opal compilation success.

Can anybody tell me how to successfully compile the Opal with SIMICS 4.2?

I have encountered error like this during compilation process:

system/system.h:370: error: ‘timing_model_interface_t’ does not name a type
make[1]: *** [x86-linux/obj/ccops.o] Error 1
make[1]: Leaving directory `/home/kyue/gems/opal'
make: *** [module] Error 2

If I can not use  SIMICS 4.2 and GEMS 2.1.1, must I install an earlier version , such SIMICS 3.1. But  it seems that there is no license for such version.
