| Subject: | [Gems-users] Number of L1/L2$ Read/Write ports |
|
hi guys,               Hope you all doing good. I read some research papers and found that they mentioned number of ports in L1$ or L2$. I am wondering how can i get this info in Ruby. I think for L1$ the number of R/W port(s) is one as all requests from processor issued via MandatoryBuffer to L1$(assuming fast path disabled). In the same way for L2$ the number of R/W port(s) is 2  ; one port to serve L1$ misses and another to serve forward requests. Any comments? Regards, Muhammad abid |
