[Gems-users] opal decode error and simulation correctness

On simulating some of the benchmarks in SPEC2k, I got the error:

I saw the thread: https://lists.cs.wisc.edu/archive/gems-users/2008-February/msg00035.shtml 
and found that this is occurring because of some unimplemented instructions. 

I am only interested in knowing whether this is a mere warning or does it affect the correctness of execution of benchmark on the simulated machine? I would be thankful for the answer.
