[Gems-users] Ruby fails to initialize

I am sorry for incomplete information. I am using abisko-common script. I hope this is not the cause. I have tried seearching for problem and i have found that the problem occurs in init.c when creating a new System object. Going further, it seems the error occurs while creating the SimicsDriver object.
          I tried using opal with ruby and then both ruby and opal initialize correctly. However, when i do opal0.sim-step , i again get segmentation fault. Please help.
