[Gems-users] Ruby fails to initialize

I am trying to use GEMS for the first time. I have simics 3.0.31 configured and gems 2.1. I have compiled MOSI_SMP_bcast protocol. When i run Simics, i am able to load ruby correctly but when i try to initialize it, i get the following error. Can any one help?

Creating system...
Processors: 2
Segmentation Fault (SIGSEGV) in main thread
The simulation state has been corrupted. Simulation cannot continue. Please restart Simics.

I would be grateful if someone can help me immediately.
