[Gems-users] Reg Contention in a Banked L2 Cache Network

Hi all,

I am interested to know how contention varies in a Banked L2 cache network. I am using MSI_MOSI_CMP protocol. For a given file specified network and L2 Bank configuration , I would like to obtain the total stalling cycles in bank and network . To obtain the stalling cycles in the L2 bank, I believe I need to deal with the protocol file MSI_MOSI_CMP_directory-L2cahce.sm.

I am wondering how to obtain the stalling cycles in the network . To be precise, If a request comes from L1->L2 , I am interested to know how much stalling the request had to go through before reaching the appropriate destination . It would be really helpful if you could point me which file to deal with for my case ?

Can someone help me out with this ?
