I am using "abisko" target (since sarek is not available for download and
they don't seem to be different) and installed both Solaris 9 and 10 (u2 and
u4 versions). I'm using gcc 3.4.5 (gcc 4.1.x and 4.2.x has errors while
loading GEMS modules). I am using Simics 3.0.30. It seems that the latest
Simics may be the issue.
Thanks,
Berkin

Subject: Re: [Gems-users] Opal errors
Internally, for Opal we run the "sarek" target with Solaris 9, gcc
3.4.X, and Simics 2.X. All of the GEMS releases should work with those
settings.
Your problems might have to do with one or more of these: 1) Target
processor type and 2) Simics version.
Can you narrow down your problem to one of these factors?
