Inter-module communication is cumbersome but possible. Have a look at such files as mf_api.h, and files that use mf_api.h to communicate between Ruby and Opal. (Opal*.[Ch] in Ruby, for instance).

Subject: [Gems-users] how to access ruby cycle info from other simics module

Hi,

I would like to access ruby cycle information from other simics module (e.g. my own instruction decoder module).

If it’s possible, can someone provide me with the pointers to example codes if there’s any?

Thanks,

Soohong
