Hi Javier,

There is nobody in our group that knows enough about this protocol to maintain support for it for 2.0, so we decided to drop that protocol for 2.0 and subsequent releases.

Perhaps other GEMS users on the list can comment on their porting efforts for this protocol for the 2.0 release. I would also suggest looking at the existing 2.0 protcools to see if there's one that approximates the same functionality as the CMP-NUCA one.

Hi all,

I realized that the protocol MOESI_CMP_NUCA is not available in the
version 2.0 of GEMS. Could you tell me if this version of GEMS is
compatible with the CMP-NUCA guidelines described in the "Documentation
wiki"?

As far as I know, when trying to set one of the specific parameters of
SNUCA (g_NUCA_PREDICTOR_CONFIG), GEMS 2.0 complains showing the
following error message: "../common/ioutil/initvar.C:512: error:
g_NUCA_PREDICTOR_CONFIG not a parameter".

Thank you in advance for your help!

Regards,

Javier
