Hello everyone,

I dig this thread up from a Mar 2006 discussion.

I am wondering is there any progress made in GEMS or perhaps some 3rd
party add-on to address this cycle disparity issue? Or to a lesser degree,
is there any method already implemented to make sure that at least the
time interrupt generation rate can be corrected(right now Simics usually
raises time interrupts much faster than the ideal case)?

I understand that for many experiments this difference does not make much
impact, but just trying to see if any users here are having the same
concern.
