Subject: [Gems-users] 2D torus topology

Hello all,

 

I’m a newbie of GEMS, and trying to understand GEMS code.

 

I’m planning to use 2D torus topology for CMP system, but GEMS wiki says that PT_TO_PT and FILE_SPECIFIED topologies are recommended for CMP protocols.

Is there any special reason that TORUS_2D is not recommended for CMP protocols?

 

Any advices will be appreciated.
