Hi,
So happy to see this patch.
What kind of architecture does Gems support for x86?
CMP? Out of order or in-order? Sequential consistency or relaxed?
Thanks
Shan

You can now download a patch that converts Ruby to operate with a Simics
x86 target (such as Enterprise). Please see the associated README file,
also in the download directory, for more information and caveats about
using this patch. Note that the switch is one-way only and only affects
Ruby (not Opal). To revert to the original SPARCv9 configuration, you
will need to re-install GEMS.
