[Gems-users] Slow Execution

As my target machine i've got a Intel 2.4GHz with 512MB of RAM emulating a
SUNFire (current config is simulating 1 processor) and it runs well under
simics.  However, when we load the ruby module for MOSI_SMP_BROADCAST,
performance under simics drops off sharply.  an 'ls' command takes 7
minutes to execute.  Could there be any mis-configuration causing such a
performance hit?
