Hi Mark.
I should note that the ARM64 ParseAPI is under development. It is
definitely a released library yet. We do appreciate bug reports, but
we're definitely not ready for anyone to depend on this working. It's
moving a long pretty quickly and will be happy to try things out with
you when it stabilizes a bit.
So the asserts are there for Sunny in his development stage.
We recently integrated the first instruction semantics with parsing and
that's where the rough edges are right now.
