Hiring Systems Integration Developer in CHTC

Hi Everyone!

 

Join our team as a Software Integration Developer in UW-Madison’s Center for High Throughput Computing (CHTC)!  The CHTC is a world leader in developing and supporting tools for scientific distributed computing on a campus, national, and international scale.  As a Software Integration Developer, you will interface with researchers on campus and around the nation, and use technologies such as Python, Elasticsearch, and HTCondor in a Linux environment to perform tasks such as: 

- Designing and automating complex software systems and software workflows for scientific computing
- Analyzing manual processes, then designing and writing new software tools to partially or fully automate them
- Ensuring that systems in production are running as expected and handling problems as they arise
- Helping users by troubleshooting and supporting integrated software systems
- Write documentation and other user-support materials
